Arts Standards

Day in Clay incorporates the following Arts Standards:

1. Creating, performing, and participating in the arts.

2. Knowing and using arts materials and resources

3. Responding to and analyzing works of art

4. Understanding cultural dimensions and contributions of the arts

Day-in-Clay incorporates all of the arts standards specified by the State of New York.

Students are typically involved in a hands-on experience during the demonstration program.

Inclusion of the arts standards leads to a participatory, educational ceramic arts class.
