Join us asDay in Clayenters its 10th year. Over the past year, Day-in-Clay visited over 40 schools with single day to week-long residencies. Cliff Mendelson, a professional artist and teacher, provides an energetic program tailored to meet faculty needs. The excitement generated by the program is captured in the photographs of students (see http://day-in-clay.com) and in the response of participating schools.
“Cliff was professional, organized, and inspired each and every one of the (100+) students to explore clay as a viable art form. Cliff is a true teacher....although I have been teaching for 29 years and consider myself accomplished in the field; Cliff taught me new techniques and inspired me beyond measure..."
—Helene S. Davis, Arts Director, School District of the Chatham’s/New Jersey.

What is Day-in-Clay?
Day in Clay are diverse multi-cultural K-12 programs/special ed. +Staff Development programs that join hands-on projects and demonstrations with art history and culture.
Day in Clay will transform your art room into a true artist studio, giving your students a real taste of the creative process, and illustrate how design, 'form and function’ relate across disciplines.
